THE 4 TYPES OF BULLYING

When someone says or does something intentionally hurtful and they keep doing it- even when you tell them to stop or show them that you’re upset that’s BULLYING.

TYPES OF BULLYING
1. Silent treatment bullying: in this kind of bullying the giver ignores a person for several reasons. For me, it was because I don’t give out things all the time. They don’t know and they don’t care whether it’s my last milk or last meal for the day. They instigate other people to snub me too. University hostel life is not easy.

2. Psychological bullying: You will be on your own and some people will say nasty things to your face. Words like “look at her big stomach or fainting girl, don’t talk to her before she faints in your hand. They love doing it when people are passing by. So that they will laugh at you or judge you for not talking back.

3. Physical bullying: Some people will pinch you, poke you or gather around and beat you. They might even destroy your property to give you an example of what will happen to you if you don’t obey them or let them degrade you.

4. Digital bullying: sending hurtful/mean texts to someone or receiving them is a form of bullying. Posting inappropriate messages or pictures. Like, mind your business, course mate! Sending harassing or threatening messages. I’m not interested in dating you so stop harassing boy!

BACK TO YOU

Comprehend that it’s not your fault that they bully you. Most people transfer their anger, guilt, or sadness to others instead of the situations that caused the new negative emotions. Whatever bullies tell you, words like idiot boy or unattractive girl, it isn’t who you are. Their definition of you isn’t the real definition of you. You define who you want to be. Stay calm and talk friendly. Head up, shoulders straight, hold out your hand, and say “stop it, leave me alone.”
